The Impact Awards are brought to you by PraxisUnico and RCUK

The Impact Awards from RCUK and PraxisUnico reward and recognize knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and commercialization professionals who have excelled in enabling and facilitating the achievement of impact from the outcomes of research.

PraxisUnico and the Research Councils are working together to facilitate the sharing of best practices and to acknowledge and celebrate the work that Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation (KEC) professionals do in enabling impact from UK research organizations.

The Impact Awards for Marketing Professionals:

  • Recognizes the important contribution made by professionals working with researchers in turning excellent research into the impact
  • Enables the sharing of best practices amongst the varied community served by the Research Councils and PraxisUnico
  • Stimulates innovative approaches to KEC activities in UK research organizations and beyond

The Impact Awards were established in 2009 to recognize and celebrate the process of exchanging knowledge, expertise, and intellectual assets beyond higher education institutions, charities and public sector research establishments for the wider benefit of the economy and society.

The UK Research Councils have a responsibility to enable optimal and successful application of the outcomes of the research and capabilities in which they invest for the benefit of the economy and the wider society, across all disciplines.
