WHAT ARE THE COMPETITION TIMESCALES?
The awards will open on 8 March 2017 and will close at midnight on 7 April 2017 (midnight). Entries will be shortlisted in late April, and finalists will be notified in writing w/c 1 May 2017. Winners will be announced at the PraxisUnico Conference gala dinner on 15 June 2017.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM / MY ORGANISATION IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER
We welcome entries from the UK and Republic of Ireland, and also international entries (where there has been a collaboration with a university based within the UK or Republic of Ireland).
Please refer to the guidance for each individual award category to check eligibility.
HOW DO I ENTER?
Entries should be submitted via the online entry form on this Impact Awards website.
IS THERE A FEE TO ENTER?
No, entry to the Impact Awards is free.
HOW MANY CATEGORIES CAN I ENTER?
There is no restriction on the number of categories that you can enter, but each project can only be submitted once within an individual award category.
Each eligible organisation can submit multiple entries providing they are significantly different.
ARE THERE SET WORD LIMITS WITHIN THE ENTRY FORM?
Yes, please refer to each individual award category for confirmation of word limits.
CAN I SAVE MY ENTRY?
Yes, there is a save function (we recommend that you don't use this on public computers).
CAN WE SUBMIT ADDITIONAL MATERIAL TO SUPPORT OUR ENTRY?
No, entries will be judged on the content provided within the entry form only so please bear this in mind when completing your entry and tell us why your project deserves to win! We will ask you to upload a high res logo and a high res image when you submit your entry.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CLOSING DATE?
Entries will be checked for eligibility and will then be assessed against the criteria highlighted for each category by a shortlisting panel. For the RCUK sponsored category, a panel will be drawn from experienced RCUK professionals who will produce a shortlist. For all other categories, judging will take place by a panel drawn from the PraxisUnico and AURIL boards.
CAN I BOOK A PLACE TO ATTEND THE AWARDS CEREMONY?
PraxisAuirl conference delegates can attend the awards evening as part of their conference package (please opt-in when booking your conference place). If you are not attending the PraxisAuril conference, places can be booked at a cost of £95pp (if you require a table of 10 please contact us).
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE COMPETITION?
Winners will be presented with a trophy during the awards ceremony (yours to keep) and you will also be issued with an Impact Awards winner logo. We will engage with entrants to promote best-practice using examples from competition entries.
